Our staff at Empire are experienced in hosting numerous festivals and large capacity events, and will be on hand to help with your event.

Main Auditorium
The Empire auditorium is an ideal venue for all types of events, with bar and catering facilities.  The main hall has a state of the art line array sound system and lighting rig and is the biggest venue in the area.

Your event can be all seated or standing.  Empire has a stage, plus a huge cinema screen.

Balcony Hall
A smaller hall is available for events of up to 300 people.  This has a small stage, sound system, lighting and its own bar.  Note that this hall is only accessible via stairs.

Meeting Rooms
Empire also has smaller meeting rooms available, contact us for details.

 

 

Deposit and Cancellation Policy

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings. This deposit covers administrative costs and the reservation of the date.

If a customer chooses to cancel their booking for any reason—including but not limited to disagreements with venue policies, licensing requirements (such as mandatory security arrangements), or other terms disclosed at the time of booking—the deposit will not be refunded.

It is the customer’s responsibility to review and agree to all venue policies and licensing requirements before booking. By paying the deposit, customers acknowledge that they accept these policies.

Cancellations initiated by the customer will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

Optional addition about security/licensing

Please note: Our venue operates under local council licensing laws requiring specific conditions (including mandatory approved security staff). These requirements are non-negotiable. By booking, you agree to comply with all licensing and safety policies.
